¿What is a psychological evaluation for immigration?
Psychological evaluations are important for immigration cases as they assess your mental health and emotional well-being. They help to determine whether you have any conditions that could affect your ability to adapt to a new country or impact your decision-making abilities. The evaluation typically takes two to four hours and may be spread out over multiple sessions. The resulting report is used by immigration authorities to make decisions about your case.
Process
After filling out the interest form, you will receive a call to schedule your evaluation
When you schedule an evaluation with us, we will first conduct an initial consultation to assess your needs and determine the appropriate evaluation plan. The evaluation itself typically takes between two and four hours, which may be spread out over multiple sessions based on your schedule and needs. During the evaluation, we will use a variety of tests and assessments designed to evaluate your mental health and emotional well-being. After the evaluation, we will provide you with a comprehensive report that meets the requirements of your immigration case. You will be provided with the complete evaluation and the attorney simultaneously through a secure email. If any corrections are needed, they will be made within 24 hours and the report will be resubmitted
About me Nohemi Burciaga, LCSW
Welcome! I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker, specialized in working with families and individuals to help them achieve their best version. As the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, I understand firsthand the psychological impact that starting a new life in a different country can have. With years of experience working with families who have been affected by their migration experiences, I have witnessed the emotional and psychological challenges they face up close. However, despite the obstacles, I always believe that there is a way forward. Currently, I am pleased to offer psychological evaluations for immigration to clients who are in the process of immigration. I understand that each client is unique and has specific needs, and I approach each evaluation with personalized attention and care. My goal is to provide a comprehensive evaluation that meets the requirements of the immigration case and addresses the specific concerns and challenges you may be facing. I am dedicated to supporting your immigration goals, and it is an honor for me to be part of your process. Thank you for considering me to carry out your psychological evaluation for immigration.
